How does the specialist take advantage of the context of the visit to support the provider?

She works alongside the provider with the children in helpful ways. She notices what the children and the provider are doing and takes the opportunity to talk about using the beads to support learning and development.

How does the specialist use the interaction she and the provider have with the children using the beads as an opportunity to expand the provider’s understanding of learning activities?

The specialist models how to go along with the children’s ideas and desires with using the materials. She also discusses with the provider how each moment of play includes learning and that she can support children’s learning by expanding in different ways on the same activity, to connect to various learning domains.
