How is technology being used in an appropriate way?

It is being used as a tool to help the child connect and communicate with his mother.  It is meaningful to the child and supports the relationship between child, parent and provider.

How is this license-exempt provider supporting relationships and communication with families?

She is being flexible about fitting time for this parent to visit with and communicate with her child (and with the provider) daily at a time that works for both of them.  She acknowledges that the other children might want to say hello to this child’s mother, and reminds him that he has wanted that time to talk to his mother for himself in the past, but allows for him to decide.
