There concepets are all apart of PITC which I train on. I think they are very important to the family child care environment. The families and child need to feel that they is a conncction between home and school. Looking at your own program, your beliefs, and perspectives on specific items is important. Children should speak their own langauge at home. At school if the provider doesn’t speak the langauge then a few words will help the child feel comfortable.
