This module was particularly interesting to me, as I am live in a fairly homogenous neighborhood and my students do mostly come from the same racial, socio economic class. But some do not. Some of the students in the other classes at my center do not. I learned bias and having cultural differences can be confused for the same thing, and it is important to remember the differences between both. It is most important and strengthening to a center’s program to have an awareness and respect for different cultures and traditions, and to represent diversity in these in the classroom environment.
