I could definitely incorporate those ideas in to many themes. We have an opposites theme light/dark) we use around Halloween. We have a family that does not celebrate holidays. We like to celebrate holidays in a huge way so we were forced to become very creative. We used lights of various strengths and explored the effects of distance. We used a strobe light and had a dance party. Which led to our shadows on the wall. We made shadow pictures and traced them. We chased our shadows. Play catch the shadow and shadow tag. We also found projector flashlights inside cereal boxes they had different pictures and colors. Each child was able to take one home for themselves!

I loved the idea of building in front of a projector to create our own city. That will be added into our theme. I know the children will enjoy it. They will be even more engaged.
