I loved the video on divergent thinking! Society makes everything so standard, especially in education. They tell our child to think outside the box but what they really mean is don’t think outside their box.

I enjoy doing open ended activities with my children and daycare children because you never know where things are going to go or what their little creative minds will come up with!

For safety reasons, I’ve struggled with a way to allow a tinkering area so the children can access loose parts on their own without things getting crazy. I think I’m going to gate off a corner and only allow 1-2 children to enter at a time. Thanks for helping me figure it out!
