I currently use many open -ended materials in my daycare home. I would like to rotate and add more items.
My issue is that since I have such a mixed age group it is often difficult to leave some items out in the open.
I would like to put together a discovery table that I can easily put up and take down. I can keep it at the kitchen table and can rotate items. This can be a great seasonal activity. I can put leaves in fall, ice in winter and seeds in spring, etc.

I can also purchase some plastic bins with lids to keep found and bought trinkets in. I was thinking it would be fun to have the kids recreate I Spy book pages because they enjoy reading them so much. It would be fun to see how they categorize and put together themes for this. It would make a great book for us to keep as well.
